im planning to go to amsterdam in the beginning of march this year 2008 and have read that they are banning the sale of magic mushrooms in all of the netherlands ,i would like to know if and when this has taken place

Hello,I just followed through on a lifelong dream and booked a trip to Amsterdam. I'm a fan of using soft drugs for spiritual purposes and have always been enamored with the sensible drug laws of The Netherlands.I have enjoyed mushrooms many times and was looking forward to another journey... however I just read about the possible ban.I've read conflicting reports saying that the ban is already in effect or it is still pending. I will be there the second to last week in February and am interested in purchasing some while there.Could anybody please tell me if they are still for sale in Amsterdam and if they will be in late February?Thanks in advance for your help.
How much do mushrooms cost in Amsterdam?
I'll be going to Amsterdam soon, and was wondering how much it costs at a coffee shop to get some shrooms. I don't want much, just enough for 1 trip.I can't really try the MJ, since I get drug tested, so shrooms are the way to go. Anyone who has been there, please advise me on the cost.Also, are these even legal in Amsterdam anymore?I'm getting conflicting reports.
